Absolute wonderful French antique silk costume with bonnet... most hand sewn and one of a kind.
Never to find such the same again and it will fit perfect for Jumeau , Steiner , Bru , Gaultier , Eden Bebe or other pretty French or German doll about around ... 20" ( 50 cm )
Beautiful cream and turquoise striped silk dress fully of pretty details and fine ornate with French lace and accessory.
Has cream color upper part with fine lace collar and antique brooch decoration. Striped part of hand made pleats at front with lace ornament trim fall over the skirt.
It has 3/4 long sleeves with cream puff shoulder part and lace ruffles at wrist. Beautiful three piece skirt , the first on fully embroidery lace part .... hold at one side with lace ornament trim.
Under it a skirt of striped silk and finally on cream silk sateen slip.
The dress would close at back side with hook and eyes and has here as finally touch a pretty large silk bow decoration. Inside lined with muslin .......
To the dress belong a fantastic hand made turquoise chiffon silk bonnet... fully with ruffles and pleats .
Has high brim with would hold with a small rack of wire inside always in perfect form. Inside fine lined with muslin and finally ornate with beautiful silk flowers bouquet !!
Both are in generally excellent fabric condition at the 19th. century ..... note small melting silk part at dress hem and small different color in the lace and silk. But all not disturbing !!!!
