An especially beautiful Bebe Gaultier with dramatic eyes and painting , pretty eye shadow and blushing , original wig and body . Wearing very beautiful antique costume and under garments , leather shoes red silk bonnet !!!!
Gaultier Freres....France circa 1885
All around a absolute pretty early Bebe 27" ( 69 cm ) with best quality of bisque socket head with very plump cheeks and chin , wonderful large blue glass paper weight inset eyes with thick dark eyeliner and dark curly lashes.
She has pale rose-blushed eye shadow and brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows.
Closed mouth with fine outlined lips , pierced ears with lovely red earrings....dark blonde mohair wig over cork pate.
Head marks at back ; F.G. ( in scroll ) 10 Here pretty bisque head is in all perfect condition.... free of damage , chip , hairline or other problem.
Note only a small and hard to see fold in the bisque near her ear !
Original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish in generally excellent condition. Has at one of her feet a well done repair ... not disturbing !!
She is wearing very beautiful with antique costume , under garments , socks , shoes and beautiful high brim bonnet. On very beautiful Bebe in larger size !!!!
