Pretty French Polichinelle in all Original Condition

On Polichinelle was very popularity in France until after the end of 19th. century and it was the most used symbol on publicity poster or Department Store and luxury Doll Store catalogs in Paris !! They was to find in different sizes and styles but always wearing very lavish and special ....... On populary and funny guy for special occasions and not only to Christmas !!
This 23" ( 59 cm ) total size beautiful Polichinelle is in very good and all Factory original condition with bisque head of on German factory .... only mark at back with 9/0 ....... for the French market.
He has blue glass inset eyes with fine painted lashes and single brows.
Open mouth with tiny row of porcelain teeth and very nice pale blonde mohair wig with tiny curls around the head.
Papermache torso with typical shaped humps at front and back torso , rare bisque hands with well modeled fingers , wooden lower legs and feet .
Otherwise straw-filled lower limbs .... all in perfect condition.
Wearing very beautiful with light pink and blue silk jester costume ornate with pretty lace cuffs and large jabot , knit tights , pink and blue silk slippers .
Fully decorate costume with decorative gold paper trim and silk ribbons and matching jester cap ........
France around 1885 / 90 in generally all perfect condition. The bisque head and hands are free of damage , hairline , repair or other problem......
