This pretty doll is on very rare found , has wonderful bisque and painting and superb and elegant modeled bisque hands and feet .
This rare doll has on all perfect pale bisque head by Barrois with wonderful all perfect articulated Parisian poupee body by Julien Ernest Pannier ( nickname Leon Pannier) ..... circa 1872 The inside metallic skeleton on the body works very well , possible to hold the arms , hand and legs in very elegant posing .
The right arm can be moved slightly heavier ....possible that her joint is a little rusty. Complete original muslin cotton fabric covered body...look´s like pretty undergarments which is typical for on rare Pannier body.
16" / 41 cm French poupee with pretty round faced bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate .
Wonderful deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes with thick dark eyeliner. Has fine painted lashes and brush-stroked brows with feathered details. Closed mouth with fine accented lips , inside head pierced ears and original blonde mohair wig over cork pate.
Head mark possible by Barrois , perfect head and shoulder plate with pale quality of bisque and free of damage , chip , repair or hairline !!
Wonderful and rare padded stockinette over metal amature body allowing infinite possibilities with rare cotton cover like under garments !!
Superb modeled bisque lower bare feet legs and hands with wonderful fine details ...in all perfect condition !!
She is wearing very beautiful with antique white muslin bustle skirt with cotton and lace blouse , hand embroidery muslins stole , muslin underskirt , socks and beautiful leather shoes . Finally on beautiful lace bonnet !!!
