Very beautiful French antique turquoise silk sateen dress with matching color bonnet .... fit perfect for Jumeau ..possible size 13 ... Steiner , Bru , FG , Eden Bebe or other pretty French or German doll about around 28" ( 70 cm )
Very nice most hand sewn French silk sateen costume with pretty ruffled front part and lace ornate side parts.
It has a light green sateen collar which is pretty ornate with silk cord. The dress has 3/4 long sleeves with large puff at shoulders and lace ruffles around the wrist.
The back is also fine decorate with wonderful French lace like the front and sleeve at the dress.
It has a pretty skirt of silk sateen fully ornate wit wonderful lace and a ivory cotton slip as under skirt. Finally around the waistline a pleated sash and at front on silk cord ornament.
You can close the dress at back with hooks and metal eyes and it is fine line inside with soft ivory cotton. The antique fabric and lace are in generally excellent condition,note small different colors but not disturbing !
To the dress belongs a wonderful couture felt bonnet in matching color to the dress.
It is wonderful ornate with chiffon silk ruffles and pleats around the head brim and has a wonderful large bow decoration at back.
A small rack of wire inside hold the head always in perfect form.
Wonderful one of a kind couture costume with matching bonnet.... to enjoy at one of your larger favorite doll´s.
