Very nice and rare early bisque fashion doll attributed by Bru ... France circa 1868 .... has fine pale quality of bisque and best quality of painting.
With original wig and body and finally wearing with pretty antique afternoon costume !!
15,5" ( 39 cm ) beautiful poupee with pale bisque pressed swivel head on kid - edged bisque shoulder plate.
She has plump cheeks and wonderful dark blue enamel inset eyes with dramatic black painted lashes and eyeliner.
Very fine painted brows and closed mouth with accented lines. Flat modeled ears pierced into the head.
Original brunette wig over cork pate .
Mark at back ; 2 She has a very fine hairline at back ..... not to see without lamp and covered by her wig . Possible factory flaw ...... otherwise free of damage , chip , repair or other big problem !!
Perfect shoulder plate ..... She has her original kid fashion body with shapely waist and gusset jointing.
Stitched and separated fingers .
Her body look´s clean , only a tiny repair at one of her wrist and two tiny wire holes ....all not disturbing !
She is wearing very pretty with afternoon costume ......skirt with blouse , capelet , woven hat and under garments. One of her original shoes are missing ......
