Very nice and rare to find all original SFBJ lady doll ... model 238 ...,wearing very pretty with original costume !
It is a great little Lady by SFBJ 19" ( 48 cm ) with French composition and wooden ball jointed Lady body with original body finish , shapely torso and elongated limps.
Here bisque socket head is from very fine bisque quality and painting with charming expression and a little smile on her open mouth.
She has small brown glass inset eyes with fine painted lashes and arched feathered brows. Accented eye corners and nostrils and four porcelain teeth between here outlined lips.
She has on blonde mohair wig and head marks ; S.F.B.J. 238 Paris 4
Here head condition is generally excellent...free of damage , chip , repair , only a very fine short hairline circa 3/4" from here open crown at side ....seems a factory flaw when removing the mold ..... not to see without lamp and also hard with lamp !!
Wearing very beautiful with original costume and under garments....socks and shoes and as finally a pretty straw hat !
Rare to find character Lady doll by SFBJ ... circa 1910 .... beautiful original rare body and of course she comes with the nice straw basket !!!
